Home is where your roots grow

Third culture kids deal with pressure only other TCKs can understand. Pressure to fit in, to stand out, to adapt, to belong. The answer to “Where are you from?” is forever loaded with mixed emotions and memories that are hard for most people to relate to.

That’s why we started THE ROOTED TCK. It’s more than a podcast — it’s a community for TCKs to share common experiences and unpack the pressures of life as we know it, to grow deeper in our faith, our friendships, and our confidence that God cares about every part of our stories.

Passing Through

Five encouragements for TCKs

Much like God helped Moses and the Israelites to pass through the Red Sea, so He can help third-culture kids (TCKs) with all that we have to navigate in our transient lifestyles. We pass through one place to the next, one culture to the next, one church to the next, and one friendship to the next. Our life of “passing through” can be challenging and tiring, but it can also be exhilarating and produce good things in our lives. Whatever you’re walking through now, be encouraged that we serve a God who walks with us to the other side.
